I'm a recent college grad whose been hanging out at 150 (lbs) for the last 3 years. I'm tried of 150. I want to weigh 135, and I really just want to lose these 15 lbs this summer and be done with the whole business.

Current activity level: I walk to work 2.5 miles round trip daily. Most mornings I start off with 2o minutes of yoga or pilates.
Mon: Step class and weight lift 15 minutes.

Thanx so much for the wishes Bry. Im doing it every alternate day for half an hour though i know i can do more:( I basically do a couple of breathing exercises and then a few stretch ones for my belly! Hope u r doing well too!KEep up the good work!

Hey Bry

So i did half an hour if yoga today with my mum. The prob is ...i felt extremely relaxed and really sleepy after that:( Also, how long do you wait before you eat after a yoga session?

Im from India and you can imagine how popular yoga is over there. I neer tried it but i know it isvery beneficial for health. I will check out the dvd's ..thanx a lot for the info! :)

I too really want to weigh around 130-135 and have been stuck at 148-150lbs for the last 3 months. Im trying to get there running and wanted to start doing yoga. Have you learnt how to do yoga?

Tues: Cardio ball, and WL 10 minutes
Wed: walk 2 miles
Thurs: 40 min cardio machine, WL 10
Fri: walk 2 miles
Sat: Walk or hike
Sun: hike or spinning with WL 15

Goal for Aug 16th: 145 lbs
Goal for Aug 31st: 141 lbs
Goal for Sept 30th: 137 lbs
Goal for Oct 30th: 135 lbs

I will be running a 5K on Oct 13th, if I can get the am off in my city. I want to do it under 26 minutes. This AM I am starting with a 1/2 mile run....


My long term goal is to be able to maintain my weight (135 lb) with working out 3-4 times a week and
being able to do the push-up from plank to up-dog correctly.
